Workflow
Know exactly what is waiting on the client
See the client-owned next step and decide when to nudge without losing context.
Mark the current owner
Use Waiting on Them when the client owes a reply, approval, document or decision. Keep the requested outcome visible in the Follow-up.
Choose when to check again
A Target date can represent a real checkpoint. A Reminder is your separate nudge to revisit the item; it does not change whose turn it is.
Close or hand back the loop
When the client responds, record the outcome. If their answer creates an action for you, move the responsibility to Your Turn; if resolved, mark the Follow-up Done.
